About us
After experiencing the loss of my husband, Charles, I found myself navigating unfamiliar territory — learning to heal, rebuild, and rediscover purpose. My book, Choosing to Live: Triumphing Over Pain to Find Purpose shares that personal journey and the lessons I learned along the way about resilience, faith, and finding hope after heartbreak.
Out of that experience, The Widow’s Promise, Inc. was born in 2023. Founded with compassion and conviction, the organization stands as a beacon of hope for widows and widowers. We turn pain into purpose by offering resources, support, and encouragement to those navigating life after loss.
Through initiatives like The Comfort Box, Empowering Widows, and On Us, we provide compassion, community, and restorative moments that help others heal and rebuild.
At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to help others heal, rebuild, and live forward. My purpose is to ensure every widow and widower knows that they are not alone but are seen, supported, and capable of living in hope, peace, and joy.
